This book is a directory for Winter 1948 Chicago Wholesale Furniture Market. The  first section of the thick 5 by 6 3/4 inch paperback booklet is a 185 page index of the exhibitors and their locations, a classified index of products and a list of executives and salesmen in attendance. There's another 377 pages with order banks and ads for exhibitors. Some companies have only a logo on an order page - others also have an advertising page. There are companies that sell radios, heaters, appliances and other household items as well as a variety of furniture makers.  The book is toned, and the first section is  browned and brittle, with the first 3 pages apart from the book. There are also a few pages with notes and marks in pencil.
