fabric backstage pass.  New Jersey Meadowlands,  August 14, 1982. Blondie's 'Tracks Across America' tour with David Johansen (New York Dolls) and Duran Duran as opening acts.
This was the only show performed in the state of New Jersey on the tour.

Featuring Duran Duran
as an opening act, the tour was originally planned as 41 concerts. Unfortunately Blondie guitarist Chris Stein
discovered he had a rare life-threatening illness, so only 20 shows took place, with Duran Duran performing
at 12 of them. Shortly after the tour, Blondie
split up.
Andy Warhol
attended this concert and later escorted Duran Duran on their first visit to the Studio 54 nightclub. It was there John Taylor met Nile Rogers and Tony Thomspon for the first time.
Pass is from original owner / concert goer. There is a piece of the original backing on the pass, with another piece of paper stuck to the back to protect it.
