Beautiful Vintage Chinese Yixing Clay Teapot Phoenix Bird Dragon
Features:
This is a beautiful teapot handmade in China, Yixing.
It is a fairly simple design with the tail as the handle and the head as the spout.
I am not sure if it is meant to be a phoenix or a dragon.
The back looks like scales.
This one has a knotted red cord holding the lid onto the body.
It has an impressed stamp on the body but I am not sure how to decipher it.
Size:
It measures about 3 1/2” x 5 1/2” wide including the spout and the handle.
Condition:
It is in very good condition.
There is a small chip on the inside rim of the lid.
Who would use it?:
This wonderful teapot would be a great addition to any collectibles collectible teapot chinese Asian kitchen serving entertaining home decor accessories collection.
