DAYS OF THUNDER 1991 PARMA 1/24 CHEVY LUMINA SLOT CAR SET WITH CONTROLLER & BOX

You are viewing a 1991-issue Parma 1/24 scale Days of Thunder Flexi slot car starter set. I bought this new and raced occasionally at a local slot car track that closed 20 years ago. The City Chevrolet body came with the kit; I used it sparingly for fear of damaging it so I purchased a second body and decorated it as the Exxon Superflo Lumina using Parma decals and paint. The Flexi chassis is original and had some minor work done to it by a friend who helped make it go a bit faster. I haven't used it in 8 years; the last time I had it on a track it ran great. The rear tires are dry so they would have to be replaced. I have no way of testing it so I can't guarantee it will run but an experienced slot car enthusiast should have no problem. The Exxon body is in good condition with some minor paint peeling off the inside of the body due to some bumping on the track. The City Chevrolet body is in very good condition but some of the lime green paint has flaked off the inside of the body behind the front grill area. Comes with everything shown in the photos, including the basic-level controller which I did not use that often, opting to rent better controllers that the slot car track had available. I don't use it any more so it's time to pass it on to a Days of Thunder enthusiast who can  have some fun with it again.
