    Description

Lot of two shadowboxes.  I found these at auction in NC, where they were framed.  I am originally from upstate NY, so I found them interesting.  Both depict buildings from Glens Falls, NY.  These are wooden block (almost an inch think) houses painted to look like historic buildings that have been framed.  They are beautifully matted and famed to compliment the colors in the houses.
They have wire hangers and were framed by Ballantyne Framing and Art in New Bern, NY.
One depicts the First Presbyterian Church on Glen Street in Glens Falls, NY.  The other is the Glens Falls Insurance Company Building founded in 1849.
I do not know the history of the little wooden buildings or their age.  I am unaware if there is writing or markings on the backs, as I didn't want to open up the frames.
Insurance Company framed piece measures 12'' tall and 12.5'' wide.  Because of the width of the building it sits about 1.75'' off of wall.
Church framed piece measures 13'' tall and 12.5'' wide.  Because of the width of the building it sits about 1.75'' off of wall.
These two piece will ship via USPS Priority mail from my smoke free and pet free home.
