Naoe Kanetsugu
(1560 – January 23, 1620) was a Japanese samurai of the 16th-17th centuries. The eldest son of Higuchi Kanetoyo, Kanetsugu was famed for his service to two generations of the Uesugi daimyo. He was also known by his court title,
Yamashiro no Kami
or his childhood/adolescent name,
Higuchi Kanetsugu

. After Kenshin had died, he served
Kagekatsu
, of the adopted son of Kenshin, Kanetsugu's brother, ?Îkuni Sanehiro, was also a famous Uesugi retainer.
The assembled size of the chopstick is 210mm or 8.3”. They can be disassembled and stored in the supplied carrying case. The carrying case measures 125mm by 42mm or 4.9” by 1.65”. This makes the chopsticks very portable. Easily fitting in your purse or your pocket.
The chopsticks arrive assembled and you simply have to unscrew the brown tip section from the lower section. Place the disassembled chopsticks in the handy carrying case, latch the case and you are ready to go out to dinner.
The chopsticks are made of biomass plastic and an aluminum-connecting collar. They are heat resistant to 130
°
C (266
°
F) and the tip section is dishwasher safe.
