Description
KIN-DAR 35mm STEREO Camera Steinheil lenses with caseThis Kin-Dar stereo camera was made by the Kinder Company, Milwaukee, USA. It takes Realist Format stereo pairs on 35mm film. It has a pair of Steinheil Cassar f/3.5 35mm lenses in five-speed shutters. The coupled rangefinder is combined in the bottom-mounted viewfinder. It was designed by Seton Rochwite who designed the Stereo Realist camera. This example is better than excellent condition, no scratches or marks, is fully functional, shutter fires on all speeds, lenses are clean, fungus free. This is like a "sports realist", smooth and compact, easily pocketable, self cocking shutter, quick operation, exceptionally sharp steinheil cassars. This is a great collectors piece, or load it with Ektachrome and let it rip.
The Kin-Dar Stereo Camera has a very heavy metal body and is unusual because of the placement of its viewfinder, at the bottom of the camera.
