A nice AC/DC operated stereo viewer for the Stereo Enthusiast
Kodaslide II Stereo Slide viewer

The favorite of many stereo photographers and collectors and for good reasons ....
Consider these features:
Large achromatic lenses
(the largest achromatic lenses ever put in a vintage stereo slide viewer)
Coated lenses
(only vintage viewer with coated lenses as far as I know)
High magnification
(feels like being there)
Internal illumination
via two size D
batteries

Adjustable brightness
via a rheostat when the viewer is used in AC.
Adjustable interocular
(spacing of lenses to match your eyes) via lever at the top.
Focusing
(via knob on the front right)

"Realist format"
stereo slides
(taken with a variety of stereo cameras, like TDC, Kodak, Realist, Revere, etc)
Can be modified for
7p
(slides taken with a Belplasca, Busch Verascope, FED and others)
Ergonomic design
, easy to use.  Light switch button is at the bottom.
Replacement bulbs
for this viewer are available (in my ebay store)
I have tested the viewer with batteries and the bulb it came with and it WORKS
However
:
I have not fully reconditioned the viewer, only cleaned it. The focusing track has been upgraded (not by me, so it works - it is frozen in most other viewers)
In many Kodaslide viewers
the cord is damaged at the entry
of the viewer.
This is the case here, but it works.
Overall, a very nice viewer!
If you want to make it even better, consider my book on this viewer, the brighter AC bulbs, and the LED bulb (for battery operation)
