    Description

    Unfortunately, due to incompetence at Mercury Marine, this unit was shipped with a top cap that loosened up.  Lube seeped out and the top bearing failed with some metal parts damaging the bevel gears.   This unit has hardly any hours on it and looks almost new.
    Either repairing the gears by filing or replacing them and installing a new bearing would bring this unit to full operational condition.
    Only minimal hours in freshwater.   2.0 ratio
