THESE ARE CHICKEN FEATHERS but they look similar to crow feathers. Crow, and their feathers and parts are protected by the Migratory Bird protection act and can not be sold or bartered for in the United States. These are Polish hen tail feathers. They come from my happy hens "Cruella" and "Carmen" they molt their tail feathers naturally at the end of each summer. Which sadly leaves them with bare chicken bottoms right as fall comes in. I therefore run heaters in their nighttime coup to keep them warm. Again these are free range, pet chickens so they are not for eating and are treated kindly.
Carmen is very skittish despite the love and care she was raised with. She enjoys finding secret places to lay her eggs so that I can't find them till they are spoiled. Good job Carmen.
The feathers are wrapped with black elkskin and sinew. They are approx 6.5-7.5" long each (The same size of crow tail feathers)
Attach them to anything your heart desires.
Please note these tail feathers are sold as is, meaning they are natural molts, the bird is not harmed for these feathers so they have been used by the chicken in daily life and may have some falws from their use.
