Description

Vintage pre-owned Native American (Peyote Cult) Box and paraphernalia. Collection includes art print of "peyote man" with some of the items. It is framed and measures 14" by 16". Box measures 16" by 4" by 4" and has a handle on top and latch on side. Mescal bean bandalier in box is 35" long with reddish brown beans and bronze colored beads. Beaded gourd rattle is about 24" long with fringe at bottom, beads, gourd and feathers. Beaded feather fan is about 24" long with fringe, beads and feathers. Leather turtle rattle is about 23" long with feathers, beads and leather turtle. The beaded wood staff is about 36" long with beads and feathers and is collapsible. It screws apart in the middle. Wooden flute is about 18" long with a bird on the top and 2 leather bands. It is signed Bobby Swmptewa NavaHopi. Flute and leather turtle rattle do not actually go with the box. They have been on display in a private collection and come from an estate.
