    Description

    Navajo Sterling Silver - Ornamental Ashtray by Robert Kelley - weighs 10.86 troy ozs.
    This handmade Ashtray was created by Robert Kelley and won First Prize in the Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial of Gallup, New Mexico 1984. This work of art is hand made. It has hand stamped patterns on the dish portion and accented with a Turquoise stone border. The very top has a Hot Rod car with with moveable wheels and the front ones turn right to left. The headlights have moonstones and the wheels are a pearl/shell. The license plate is marked "KELLEY"
    The car is mounted on a center ball that lets the car move around up and down to view the craftsmanship. It also comes with 2 photos of Robert Kelley displaying his masterpiece, taking the 1st prize.
    The back of photos have writing: Robert Kelley, 1st prize piece 1984, Gallop Ceremonial. The other photo has Robert & Noreen Kelley with his 1st prize piece by Robert 1984 Gallup Ceremonials.
    Marked: signed / stamped KELLEY on the license plate. It has written in marker 1800. underneath. Possibly the price at the time.
    Measurements: 6" in diameter and measures 6 3/4" in height.

    Condition: Great Condition - we have not polished the piece.
