    The Nepal 1 Rupee banknote is part of the 1991 issues. It is blue, purple, gold, and brown in color and measures 106 x 70 mm. The obverse side shows King Birendra in royal dress and plumed crown, basaha (bull) facing Pashupatinath temple, the obverse of a coin, wood carvings, and clouds. The reverse side features a bank logo, a pillar, a male and female musk deer jumping over the creek, Mount Amadablam, and the coat of arms. This banknote has no security thread and contains a watermark with a plumed crown design
