RICHARD KING MACHINE REBUILDING CLASS
FROM MONDAY NOVEMBER 5 TO FRIDAY NOVEMBER 9, 2022
I am a Journeyman Machine Rebuilder and learned how to scrape in the 1960's from my Dad,  Herman Red King in Minneapolis MN.  He learned how from German Immigrants during WW2.  I started to teach class at General Motors in Indianapolis, IN in the late 1980's and since then have taught all over the world:  Germany, Austria, Norway, Denmark, United Kingdom, Turkey, 2 years in Taiwan, Canada, and dozens of fortune 500 companies in the USA.  Since 1988 I have taught over 40,000 students.  I now teach mostly inside my home shop as airplane travel is difficult.
The class will be inside J&S Machine and Valve in Nowata Oklahoma that is about 20 minutes east of Bartlesville OK.   There is an International Airport in Tulsa OK, about 1 hours drive to Nowata.  J&S has a temperature controlled factory.  I su
pply all the tools, but if you have your own, bring them.  I will be staying over the next week too and doing machine maintenance for them.
I am also the USA  Scraping Instructor for The Dapra Corportation who imports the Biax Scraping Tools and have been for over 30 years.  I also taught in Germany for BIAX, the makers of the BIAX Power Scraper.
Lately I have had a few people ask about a 3 to 5 day weekend class, so I am adding it to the class. It will start on Friday, Sept 23 and end on Tuesday Sept. 27, 2022. The first 2 days I will teach hand and power ways scraping and flaking, day 3 to 5 I will help you scrape a personal project you bring with. Many bring a straight-edge, surface plate, angle plate, lathe compound, etc. I mix the class with Q&A sessions on how to and tricks of the trade of Machine Rebuilding.  I only have room for 6 students, so if you want to attend, Buy it Now!
