Pair Of Polished Coquina Stone Fossilized Shell Bookends 7”.
The stone bookends come together to create a columnar shape that is 7 inches tall approximately 6 inches wide in diameter. The polished stone is made of fossilized shell (coquina) and is made up of multiple types of shells, especially Gastropods. Each piece of stone has a sticker on the bottom that says “made in Pakistan” and the stickers have damages. The stones are in very good shape except for a few chips and scratches. A lot of the corners/edges have been rounded off and have very small nicks or chips. One of the bottom corners has a large chipped area very near the base. The stones are light in color with some of the more crystalline features showing up as dark. I tried to convey this in the photos but due to lighting sometimes it shows up differently. Each stone has light scratching all over and there are a couple of areas that have some larger/deeper scratches that I have tried to show in photos. One is on top of an orange colored area and the other is on the inside of one of the stones where the scratches look like scribbles in an oval shape. It’s down with approximately 5 1/2 pounds.
