    Description

    RARE Early Trop-Artic Manhattan Transmission Oil 5lb Oil Can, 1910’s era in great shape for the age. These early teen cans are some of the most graphic cans ever produced. You can’t beat the early car graphics on this one. Does have some discoloration around the can but may clean up with proper cleaning. Does have a few dents on the corners that again would pop out with the correct tools. I like my cans all original as found so I left it as is.
    In all my years I’ve only seen 3 of these and this one is probably one of the best ones you’ll find.
    Manhattan took the Trop-Artic name in 1913 and used it until they merged with independent oil in 1928 then in 1930 merged with Phillips which thats when they started using Trop-Artic as we see on Phillips cans.
