Slot car track side boxes!
This offering is for a Slot car Track/Pit Caddy. Use these caddy’s between heats to service your 1/24, 1/32, or even HO race car. Use them in the pits for better organization of your racing essentials.
I take oil, braid juice, lane stickers and an allen wrench with me between lane changes to service my car. The box will hold other items as well to suit your needs such as tires, braids, etc. The smaller square areas hold a bottle of VooDoo nicely and the raised section will hold wheel wrenches, etc.
This is my own tried and tested design.
They are laser cut from 1/8" Premium Baltic Birch plywood. The finger joint design make these boxes exceptionally strong and resilient and are glued together with permanent glue. They are unfinished to allow you the finish of your choosing. I use mine just like it is but you could clear coat them or paint them to suit your taste.
Baltic Birch is known for its straight wood grain and attractive pattern and light coloration. It is also strong and durable. It has superior strength and stability.
The hanger on the back of the box allows you to hang the box on the perimeter wall of the track while servicing and also to hang on the wall at the drivers station during the race so it’s handy to get to. There are extra spacers included if you need to adjust the standoffs for thicker wall configurations.
