    Description

    Being placed up for bids is this souvenir china Shoe showing a colored transfer "Along The French Broad River, Near Asheville, N.C.".  It measures nearly 6 inches in length and stands 2.5 inches high at the back heel area.  Solid Gold on the front half with minor Gold wear.  No chips or hairlines.  A couple of dark spots on the heel area are under the glaze, done in the making.  I see no makers mark on the base but this piece has all the characteristics of a German made item.
