    Description

    Souvenir of Minneapolis
    , printed/published by John A. Schlener & Co.
No copyright year is listed, but this was probably produced in 1900 or earlier.
This is a small (5 X 3.25 in.) hardcover in red-brown, textured boards, containing a total of 18 black and white illustrations (probably taken from photographs), of famous sites in the city, including:
    The Suspension Bridge
    St. Anthony Falls
    The West Hotel
    Harmonia Hall
The Masonic Temple (in downtown Minneapolis)
    Washburn Residence
    The Lumber Exchange
    Library Building
    Westminster Church
    and more...
The illustrations are connected in an accordion-like (
    leporello
) fashion, but two of the pics (St. Anthony Falls and The Suspension Bridge) are disconnected, and all but one of the rest are detached from the book's binding.  Only the Minneapolis Industrial Exhibition Building is attached as the frontispiece.
The boards show light scuffs/rubs.  There are tears in several folds between the illustrations.  Unmarked and no significant stains.
