    Description

    Stereo Cameras Using Film
An Illustrated Documentation of 136 Stereo Cameras
    by Prof. Werner Weiser
This book is a continuation of Werner Weiser's book Stereo Cameras since 1930.  The original book was published in 1984 and it contained 69 stereo cameras.  This new version is enlarged to include not just stereo cameras since 1930, but
ALL FILM STEREO CAMERAS EVER MADE
    !
This book was first published in 2004 (Note: There is a supplement to this that I also sell, published in 2014. The 2014 volume has new cameras, not cameras included in this volume, so the hard core collector should have both :))
This new edition highlights 136 stereo cameras.  The new stereo cameras covered in this edition include 1) folding and box cameras from 1895 to 1915, 2) 6x13 and 45x107 format cameras from 1900-1940, 3) RBT cameras, 4) 3 and 4 lens lenticular cameras.  Not included are stereo adapters, twin cameras or cameras built by amateurs.
In addition to covering more cameras, compared to the first edition, this new edition is
    larger
(8.5 x 12 inches vs 6.5 x 9.5 inches) and the illustrations are better and bigger.  The new edition also is in
    hardcover
while the older edition was in softcover.
This highly informative book is imported from Germany. Each camera is documented by a page listing the technical characteristics (manufacturer, date of production, quantity produced, dimensions, weight, film size and format, lenses, shutter, etc., etc.) and three views, one looking straight, one from the top and one from the back with the camera back removed. Two examples are shown below:
A real treasure of information for both collectors and stereo camera users.
