    Description

    There are TWENTY agatized gastropods, possibly
    Babylonia sp.
    in this collection. The gastropods may date from the Eocene (54 to 37 million years ago), but they may also date from the Late Cretaceous as the specimens were collected in loose Eocene deposits, in Boujdour Province of Western Sahara. None so far, has been found in situ, possibly due to collecting techniques.
    The gastropods range in height from 1.33 to 0.65 inches.
    All of my fossils are authentic and have been legally obtained.
