Description

Fantastic old catalog from Imperial Furnture Company of Grand Rapids Michigan. The catalog is large (13" x 16 3/4") with 99 pages. There are approximately 350 - 400 pictures. The company was in business from 1903 to 1954. During the 40's, Imperial made wooden airplane wings for the government. The founder, F. Stuart Foote claimed to be the inventor of the "coffee table" after lowering the legs on a table as his wife prepared for a party in 1920. The rear cover has come loose from some of the spiral binding, but with patience (which I don't have) it could be woven back through. This does not take away from beauty or use. There are a few small stains on the cover(see pics). A really great find.
