Vintage CANTON WARE tea pot bamboo handles WATER BIRDS & WATER FLOWERS. Hand-painted in Hong Kong. Raised relief paint in vibrant colors. Excellent condition and clean.
Sturdy bamboo handles. Lid vent. Easy pinch openings on top of lid. Clean un-glazed footrim.
Measures 8 1/4 inches high by 5 inches wide across the bottoms.
HAND PAINTED CANTON WARE HONG KONG BLANK PORCELAIN BODY FROM JAPAN on the bottom. Nine hole filter at base of spout on interior.
No cracks, chips, gouges or stains. I find some tea stains on the underside of the lid and interior rim. The interior is super clean.
This well-composed and colorful teapot is clean, bright and ready for service or display.
