VINTAGE CHINESE PORCELAIN TEA BOWL WITH LID AND STAND
The featured item represents a Chinese, possibly late Republic period, porcelain tea bowl with lid and a stand.
The bowl measures approximately 2 1/2" tall, 4" across the top and 1 1/4" in diameter at the foot rim. The stand is about 1" tall 4 1/4" across the top and 2 7/8" in diameter at the foot.
The pieces are decorated with overglazed hand painted enamels depicting female figures, cherry blossoms and other details. There is also calligraphy text in black on the three parts.
The item comes in overall good condition for its age. The bowl has a bit or irregular shape  - it's not potted perfectly round and that's why the lid does not fit snugly. In fact it's a bit tricky to make the cover stay without one of it's ends slipping down and the lid flipping over. So, be careful when handling it. The enamels are in good condition with s bit of rubbing on some places. No chips or cracks found on the bowl but there are some production flaws on the rim and other imperfections throughout. The edge of the lid's knob rim has very small chips and again the cover has the typical production flaws. Same applies to the stand.
