Vintage Lane Cedar Chest Store Display Sign
A  Lane Cedar Chest store advertising sign in green and gold.
Made of a thick fiberboard with a fold out stand on the back.
Produced by Common Sense Novelty Company, Chicago.
Lane chests were produced in my hometown of Altavista, Va. where I recently obtained this piece from a former employee.
Lane started production in 1912.

Although not dated, the now defunct
Common Sense Novelty Company was still making signs in the 1950's.
I'm fairly certain these signs would be displayed along with the chests in a furniture showroom.
