    Vintage Native American Cherokee Stone Axe W/ Authentication ARTIST BEAR ROMERO
    I acquired this piece of art from the Florida estate of a registered Cherokee Native American. She was selling off her items to help her long time partner with 4th stage cancer. She claimed to have acquired most of the items while at the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation, North Carolina Indian Reservation, with some that had been on display at the "Museum of the Cherokee Indian".
    This piece is tagged: "CERTIFICATE OF AUHENTICITY / NAME OF ARTIST - BEAR ROMERO / STONE HATCHET / This certificate certifies that the item described was created, crafted or otherwise constructed by hand by a genuine Native American".
    The Hatchett measures 19 1/2" long and the stone blade measures 7" long x 2 1/2" wide.
