    Vintage Sioux Plains Tribes Indians Parfleche Box Many Horses IIII M Schwab
    DESCRIPTION
    Vintage leather painted parfleche box with fringe trim. Beautifully decorated with the primary colors of red, green, blue, yellow and white by the Sioux artist Micheal Schwab known as Many Horses IIII. Complete with fringing this vintage parfleche box preserves the integrity of Plains Indian art through the use of traditional materials, tools, and techniques. In this way he hopes to help keep some of the traditional methods alive and honor the Native Americans while remaining faithful to the spirit and design of the Plains tribes.
    Inscribed underneath: Many Horses IIII 92
    A great addition to any Plains tribes or indigeneous collection.

    Parfleche box measures 5" tall by 5.5" deep by 8" wide and weighs 11oz.
