The total length of the U shackle is around 4", the total width of the counter plate is around 4-1/2". The thickness is around 1/4". This shows lots of wear from age, use and storage. The counter plate does have a arch to it. The entire thing with the nuts and washers weighs 9.5 Ounces. This was removed from a very old cabin from the 1940's-1950's that had not seen the light of day for around a decade at the time these were removed.
