    Model Birch(?) Bark Canoe
    A vintage Chippewa Nation birch (or other wood?) bark model canoe.
    Measures 13 inches long; marked/carved inside "Chippewa Indian Made". Probably made in Canada first half 20th century.
    Very good vintage condition with no flaws or repairs.
    The Ojibwe, Ojibwa, Chippewa, or Saulteaux are an Anishinaabe people in what is currently southern Canada and the northern Midwestern United States. In the United States, they have the fifth-largest population among Native American peoples.
