For sale is a vintage book, A History of Patoka, Indiana. This 26-page soft-cover book traces the history of the Patoka area to the late 1700s, when John Stearns became the first white man to make a permanent home on the Patoka River. Printed in 1976, the book features well-researched stories and several dozen rare photos. It is in very good condition, with stained covers, and is quite hard to find.
