    VINTAGE GUM/SPOON REST/CHOPSTICKS HOLDER ~ PORCELAIN CLOWN ~ WITH THE CLUBS SYMBOL FROM A DECK OF CARDS
    (ORIGINALLY FROM A SET OF 4 CLOWNS EACH WITH THEIR OWN CARD DECK SYMBOL)
    THIS IS HANDPAINTED WITH "COLD PAINT" ~  AN OLD TECHNIQUE WHERE THE CERAMIC IS PAINTED AFTER FIRING
    MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN ~ THE PERIOD FROM 1945 (AFTER WORLD WAR II) THOUGH APRIL 25, 1952 ~ WHEN THE ALLIES OCCUPIED JAAN
    Measures 2" wide x 2-1/2" long
    In Excellent Vintage condition ~ No major cracks, chips or breaks ~ small chip on left shoe
